Buffalo Women’s Basketball Announces 2017-18 Conference Schedule

BUFFALO, NY – Sixth-year head coach Felisha Legette-Jack of the University at Buffalo women’s basketball team announced the Bulls Mid-American Conference schedule on Thursday afternoon. The MAC slate is highlighted by nine home games inside Alumni Arena.

After wrapping up non-conference play on Thursday, December 21 at St. Johns, the Bulls will open their MAC slate on the road on Saturday, December 30 at Akron. After the New Year, Buffalo will welcome the Western Michigan Broncos to Alumni Arena for their MAC home opener on Wednesday, January 3 at 7:00 pm.

Three of the next four conference games will be on the road for Buffalo as they head to Northern Illinois on January 6, Ball State on January 13 and Ohio on January 17. UB will host the Miami (OH) RedHawks on Wednesday, January 10 at 7:00 pm.

On January 20, the Bulls will welcome the reigning MAC champion Toledo Rockets to Alumni Arena for a 1:00 pm game. After their bye on January 24, the Bulls will host the Eastern Michigan Eagles on Saturday, January 27 at 1:00 pm.

The Bulls will face a tough road trip to close out January and welcome in February as they head to Mount Pleasant, MI to take on the Central Michigan Chippewas on January 31 before traveling to the defending MAC champs, Toledo, on Saturday, February 3.

Buffalo will then host three of their next four conference games at Alumni Arena as they will welcome Kent State on February 7, Central Michigan on February 14 and Akron on February 17. UB will also travel to Miami (OH) on February 10 for a Saturday showdown with the RedHawks.

February will come to a close with a road game against Bowling Green on Wednbesday, Febraury 21, a home games against Ohio on Saturday, February 24 and a road game at Kent State on Wednesday, February 28. Buffalo will then welcome Bowling Green on Senior Day at Alumni Arena on Saturday, March 3 to close out their regular season slate.

The 2018 Mid-American Conference Tournament will again be held at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, OH from March 9-12.  Frist round games will take place on campus sites on March 5.

Season ticket renewals were mailed out last week for the upcoming season and fans have until Sep. 25 to renew their season tickets.  Fans wishing to purchase season tickets for the first time can do so by calling the UB Ticket Office at 1-877-UB-THERE.
