With both Youth League teams coming out of the weekend with solid wins, the Blues finals campaign is looking very strong!

Youth League Women – Frankston Blues 79 def. Whittlesea Pacers 48

Kirra Gadsby has led the way for the Frankston Blues scoring a game-high 20 points powering the Blues to a 31-point victory. Gadsby was one of five Blues who scored in double-figures in the dominant victory. The Blues now winners of three straight games are starting to make some noise in YL2W with only a few rounds remaining. Look for them to be a tough match-up come finals time.

Youth League Men – Frankston 77 def Melton 71

Finally Frankston won a tight one against Melton in what could potentially have been a finals preview in a few weeks time as Ryan Wells and Broden Collins went blow for blow on Sunday arvo. Wells finished with a game high 26 points, Collins a team high 23 for the Thoroughbreds. Bol Bak was quiet for the first time in a long time with just the 10 points, while the Blues managed to sneak past their opponents despite getting to the free throw line just six times for the contest!
