Blues Women aiming for 4 straight

The ‘Powerade’ Blues Women this weekend again have a double header, taking on Diamond Valley Eagles Saturday night away followed by Ballarat Rush Sunday afternoon at home.

The Blues currently sit 12th on the ladder, after winning both games last week over, comfortably defeating Hobart Huskies and Ringwood Hawks.

Steph Reid and Taylor Lee continued to impress but it was the addition of Courtney Wilkins that caught the attention of many.

Diamond Valley Eagles

The Eagles currently sit dead bottom of the ladder with a 1-12 record.

The are lead by Anneli Maley who averages 19.9 pp, 14.7 rpg and 2.4 apf

Watch out for the Taylor/Maley match up.

Ballarat Miners

The Miners currently sit top one spot above the blues with a 4-7 record, after last week defeating Southern Sabres (90-72)

They are lead by Olivia Hackmann (17 ppg and 5.5 rpp) and Joy Burke (13.5 ppg and 8.8 rpg).

Watch out for the Richards/Burke match up.
