Frankston Blues NBL1 Men… Now what?

With the NBL1 2019 season now done and dusted the Frankston Blues Mens players have now gone onto their respective summer season teams.

Majok Majok has settled back in his hometown in Western Australia, preparing for his upcoming season with the Perth Wildcats.

Sunday afternoon in a pre-season hit out Majok started and came away with 10 points and 8 rebounds.

Daniel Trist has played in three practise games for SEM Phoenix and performed well in each.

Najeal Young has been a part of Melbourne United’s pre-season more recently and has been fortunate to get some decent court time with five of United players away representing their country at the FIBA World Cup. He has scored double digits in multiple games.

Preparing for the NBL Blitz, in Tasmania (September 19-22), the NBL1 All Star (Blitz) features Andrew Harms (Coach), Damon Bozeman, Igor Hadziomerovic, Najeal Young and Lachlan Barker. They played their first game on the 31st of August, going down to Zhejiang Guangsha Lions.

And young Thomas Garrett has moved overseas to American as he begins a new chapter in his pathway at Metro State University in the US Collegiate system.

The coaching staff have begun the process of preparing for  NBL1 Season 2020 with teams announcements expected soon.
